We use Adobe Illustrator v10, Photoshop v7.0 (PC Version) and Flex
17.
Please save your files as Illus. eps files, PC compatible.

If you wish to use computer generated art for your screen printed product, please send
vector graphics. Our plotter follows the lines of edges of vector or outlined images and
does not "read" bitmapped or Raster images such as scans or photoshops files. We
can use them, but only as reference if you do not have vector praphics. Raster or
bitmapped images would require that we recreate your files as vector graphics. Screened
images need to be 55 line screens with a 20% to 80% dot.

You may wish to send electronic files of your computer generated art. Again, please send vector
graphics (change all type to outline or curves). Just use the upload button to send files. If you should have any further questions

TYPE
|
|
Examples 1 thru 3: Regular type which can be edited (selected and retyped).
Examples 4 and 5:
Type which has been converted to Outline type or Curves. Outline type can be selected
and edited as a graphic image (also know as a vector image). Vector images can be stretched,
distorted, filled with patterns, colors, gradients, or screens*. Vector images may also be dissected
or joined with other images.
*Screened images need to be 55 line screens with a 20% to 80% dot.
Our plotter needs outlined type or graphics in order to cut Rubylith film to create your graphic
design (4 and 5 work!).

One last word on type; we may not have the font you used to create your sign or graphic. If you
change the type to curves or outline, the font you used becomes a graphic image and font matching will
not be a problem.
